In recent years Ireland has become a melting pot of diverse talents and backgrounds, enriched by the contributions of incredible individuals from around the globe. Among these remarkable people are six extraordinary women who have chosen to make Ireland their home, each bringing unique expertise, employment opportunities, and a profound sense of community spirit. The inspiration for this feature blossomed from an engaging conversation between one of these women, Dr Mehvish Khan, and RSVP editor Paula Lenihan.
What began as a casual chat soon evolved into a meaningful exchange, from which a friendship grew. In the July issue of RSVP, we feature six women, Nadia Adan, Dr Mehvish Khan, Pamela Uba, Dr Monica Peres Oikeh, Ngozi Elobuike and Snehaa Midha, hailing from different corners of the world, who are not only enhancing Ireland with their professional skills and knowledge but are also fostering cultural diversity and promoting a sense of unity. Through their stories, we aim to showcase how their journeys and contributions are weaving a richer, more inclusive, tapestry of Irish life.
At the photoshoot, three of the RSVP team — photographer Anna Groniecka, make-up artist Oksana Lobanova and hairdresser Laila Sergejeva Valentino — also told how they have formed a new life here too, and their stories can be heard in coming issues. Here, we chat to Nadia Adan, and the other five ladies who took part in the shoot will be featured on our website over the next few weeks. We will .
