Bradley Tams "has got the justice he deserved" six months on his from his murder. That's the message from Bradley's mother Julie Weatherson who spoke out after Blakelaw killer Gavin Train admitted carrying out the murder, which took place in the Slatyford area of Newcastle. Train was convicted of murder at Newcastle Crown Court after confessing to stabbing 23-year-old Bradley in December.
Train had been due to stand trial - but dramatically changed his plea to guilty. Co-accused Andrea Train - Gavin's mother - and Lewis Allison, who denied murder, have admitted violent disorder. Prosecutor David Lamb KC told Newcastle Crown Court the guilty pleas entered by the trio were acceptable and they will be sentenced next month.

Bradley was found to have serious injuries consistent with having been stabbed, and died at the scene. Bradley's mother Julie has said in a statement: "It’s the sixth month anniversary since the death of Bradley and today he’s got the justice he deserved.
