MUNSTER Rugby ace Rory Scannell was suited, and booted, in more ways than one for his wedding to long-term love Aisling Colwell in The Kingdom. The Munster centre sported a slick black tuxedo, and an orthopaedic boot on one foot, as he held hands with his beautiful bride Aisling as they emerged from St Mary’s Cathedral in Killarney after tying the knot on Friday. The Cork man underwent surgery earlier this month after suffering a nasty ankle injury against Ulster in a URC match at Thomond Park which ruled him out until next season.

Injury worries were the furthest thing from his mind on Friday however, when he set eyes on his radiant bride-to-be Aisling when she arrived at the top of the altar in St Mary’s Cathedral. Strategy consulting manager, Aisling, wowed in an ivory gown with a plunging neckline, structured waistband, full skirt and short trail. The brunette beauty wore her hair down in relaxed waves with the sides loosely pinned back under a mid-length veil.



Her gown was set off with simple, delicate jewellery and a bouquet of flowers in soft pastels. Among her bridesmaids were wives of two of Rory’s Munster teammates, Joanna Cooper who is married to Conor Murray and Harriet Beirne who is married to Tadhg Beirne. The bridesmaids wore hot pink dresses in various designs.

Harriet opted for a gown with pretty bow ties on the shoulders while Joanna opted for a gown with spaghetti straps with a ruffled bustline, which skimmed her baby bump. The Derry girl and husband,.
