A woman has divided opinion after showing off her beautiful blown out hair after labour - it takes seconds to achieve. We all know those momentous pictures that parents get when they welcome a baby into their family. Capturing the very first moment you lay eyes on your baby after they have been born can be so special.
But, the reality is that for many mums , the last thing you want to do after pushing your baby out - and likely don't look or feel your finest - is getting the camera out. Of course many women don't care how they look in the amazing moment, but it has become common for people to do their hair and make-up for the occasion. One American mum Josie Balka, who is a social media content creator and hairstylist, says she had "matted hair" when she gave birth to her two little girls, but when welcoming her third child and son into the world she "cracked the code on having a blowout for birth".
Taking to her Instagram page @josie_balka, the mum-of-three said: "My third birth and the first time my hair wasn't fully matted after. Heatless curls during labour might be the biggest slay!" The Tennessee business owner showed how she used a heatless hair curling ribbon - which has become one of the most viral and popular ways to achieve blow-dry style hair without using heated appliances. Josie says she was able to keep her hair out of her face during labour and once the baby was born she was picture ready; her partner pulled out the curling ribbon and she was left with perfect.
