Supermarket giant Morrisons has promised to fix a giant pothole in their carpark - as shoppers say it looks like a "meteor strike.” The store in Aberystwyth, West Wales , has been plagued by a series of potholes for years with a string of complaints from customers. Worried shoppers said the hole near the store's entrance was "more like a meteor strike than a pothole.

” The store has consistently had pothole problems over the past past few years which has sparked a string of complaints from shoppers. Many of the holes are patched up before others appear nearby with one shopper suggesting the car park at the Parcy Llyn Retail Park site sits above and old waterway. Taking a photo of one hole last year, shopper Ray Hughes warned: " Morrisons Aberystwyth must have the top prize for this pothole beware drivers coming into the car park your front and back suspension will not like this pothole.



" He said another hole previously in the car park was "looking for a victim" he added: "if it gets much deeper cars are going in it never to be seen again." Another shopper said: "They keep fixing the holes but they just come back - I think there is an old spring underneath." Another commenter shared their thoughts on Cambrian News and said they would miss building their muscles up when visiting the supermarket, they said: “Geeeezz! I'm going to miss my outside trolley push if they fix those million holes and cracks, I’ve been building my arm muscles up by swinging and swerving those tro.
