The mother and two daughters killed in Bushey have been described as "the loveliest, gentlest family". Police are carrying out further searches of a house in Enfield as the suspect, Kyle Clifford, remains in hospital. Members of police staff were seen wearing gloves and face masks outside the property in Rendlesham Road, Enfield, on Thursday morning which was first searched on Wednesday.

Clifford was the focus of a manhunt after an attack in Ashlyn Close which resulted in the deaths of Carol Hunt, 61, Hannah Hunt, 28, and Louise Hunt, 25. He was found injured in Lavender Hill Cemetery in Enfield, north London, later on Wednesday and was taken to a major trauma centre for treatment. Police did not say how the injuries occurred but stressed they had not fired any shots.

They said he is yet to be arrested. The women were pronounced dead after police and paramedics rushed to the family home near Watford at around 7pm on Tuesday. Hertfordshire Constabulary have said they were attacked with a crossbow and possibly other weapons.

The public was invited to a church service at the nearby St James's church in Bushey on Thursday morning where friends and neighbours said prayers for the family. Colleagues of Hannah Hunt paid tribute to the "fantastic therapist" in a post on Facebook on Thursday, saying it was with "deep regret and sadness" that The Anti-Ageing Clinic based in Radlett, Hertfordshire, learned of the "horrific murder on Tuesday night.
