POP star SZA aspired to become a gymnast before she traded the high beam for high notes. And the Grammy Award-winner showed she has not lost her gymnastics skills while training with Simone Biles ahead of the Paris Olympics . In a now viral video , SZA – whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe – and Biles performed impressive beam dismounts together.

The pair launched off of parallel beams into a pile of red foam blocks to huge smiles afterwards " SZA is just really that multi talented gal and we love her for that," one fan said. "SZA is such an awesome human being I was so nervous for her beautiful head though I can’t even lie," another fan said. The pair also recently took part in a two-minute spot for NBC Sports, in which SZA traveled to Biles' training headquarters in Spring, Texas.

In 2013, the singer revealed she trained in gymnastics for 13 years and once considered a future in the sport. "I directed all my attention to it. I did really well in sports and was captain of my team," she told Complex .

SZA, who is best known for hit songs like Kill Bill and Snooze, added that she was once "5th in the nation as a gymnast." "I was very connected to it, to the growth. Learning new skills, being in the theater that I have in my body," she told NYLON .
