After one of the twins' death last season, Bharat will avenge his brother Shatrughan's death and create mayhem in the Mirzapur universe.
In a recent chat with IndiaToday.in, Vijay spoke about playing dark roles and his decision to join the popular Prime Video series. He discussed how an actor often has to walk the thin line between getting work and fearing being stereotyped.
Vijay shared that the boundary is mostly external, as an actor would be destroyed if they ever put themselves in a bracket. "I have never let myself feel that. As for villainous, negative or dark, they are all such layered characters.
The realm is vast, and I think all my favourite personalities have been the ones who understand their negativity," he shared. Having played multiple dark roles , the 'Dahaad' actor shared, "I don't want to talk about it like business, but I did find an opportunity in this space. Not a lot of actors were doing these kinds of roles, maybe because of [affecting their] image.
I made a great fortune out of it and then went on to also explore other things in between. Be it Murder Mubarak, Jaane Jaan, or Kalkoot, I tried to find other shades. And it's not just me, it's the writing.
