Michael Vernon “Snoopy” Harvey, 58, of Rochester, N.Y., passed away on May 25, 2024.
He was known for his big heart and willingness to help anyone in need. Michael was a proud supporter of Gay pride and had a special love for all animals, especially his beloved bichon, Lee, named after his father. In his career as a hair stylist, Michael brought joy and style to many in the community.
His passion for swimming led him to spend many peaceful days at Lake Ontario, embracing the beauty of the water. Michael will be dearly missed by his surviving family members, including his sisters, Leigh A Harvey and Tami J Harvey; numerous nieces, cousins, grand nieces, and adoring aunts; and one great-great-nephew. He is preceded in death by his father Lee C Harvey, his mother Elizabeth M Harvey, and his brother William F Harvey.
Details for services to honor Michael’s life are yet to be determined; however, they will be held in his home town of Great Barrington. Cremation will take place in Rochester, N.Y.
Michael’s kindness and loving nature will be cherished and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him..
