1 of 1 2 of 1 Michael Bublé must be “feeling good,” becuase he was just announced as a coach for the upcoming 26th season of The Voice —making him the first Canadian ever to land the role. The charismatic Vancouverite is a national treasure beloved by many, having hosted the Juno Awards twice and racking up multiple nominations and wins at both the Junos and the Grammys. Joining American reality talent competition The Voice as the newest coach marks the first time Bublé will mentor aspiring singers on a televised program.
Snoop Dogg also joins as a coach this year, the two of them filling the vacant spots left by John Legend and Chance the Rapper. They will appear alongside existing coaches Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire. As is customary with every season, expect to see some coach duets.
We’re not entirely sure what a “Gin And Juice” and “It’s a Beautiful Day” mashup would sound like, but we look forward to finding out. The Voice season 26 is to premiere in fall 2024..
