FIRST Lady Jill Biden stuns in a new Vogue cover years after Melania Trump was snubbed by the iconic magazine. The former first lady wore dark colors as she arrived at Trump Tower in New York City on Sunday in anticipation of her Log Cabin Republicans fundraiser. Melania, 54, wore a navy blue blazer and green pants as she carried a Louis Vuitton handbag.
She wore dark sunglasses as she flashed a smile at the doorman before entering the building. Just a few days ago, Melania was nowhere to be found as her husband, Donald Trump , took on President Joe Biden at the first presidential debate of 2024. In a move that broke tradition, Melania was absent from the debate in Atlanta , Georgia on Thursday.
Meanwhile, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden was present and rushed to the stage to greet her husband and escort him to the moderators' table after the debate. Jill, 73, also praised the President's performance, despite several polls disagreeing with her.
Recently, Jill's cover for the August 2024 edition of Vogue magazine was unveiled - her second one for fashion publication. Snapped by veteran fashion photographer Norman Jean Roy, Jill wore a cream-colored Ralph Lauren silk tuxedo dress with turquoise earrings. Her profile was written by Maya Singer, who shadowed the first lady during two Minnesota campaign stops in April.
"We are the first generation in half a century to give our daughters a country with fewer rights than we had," Jill said at a Women for Biden-Harris event in Minneapolis..
