Roger Neal and Judith Ann Reuschel of Bowen, Ill., are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary last August with an earlier family trip to Branson, Mo. Roger and the former Judith Ann Rankin were married May 31, 1964, at Bowen, Ill.
, Christian Church They are the proud parents of 4 children. Doug Reuschel (Gerardo Zamarripa) of Houston, TX. Amy (Mark) Evers of Quincy.
Kevin (Kari) Reuschel of Bowen. Kristin (Curt) Shaffer of Ursa. They have 8 beautiful grandchildren.
Kellen Evers of Brownsville, TX. Blaine (Gabe) Lehenbauer of O'Fallon, MO. Dana Evers of Quincy.
Cole Shaffer and fiance Morgan Fleer of Ursa. Greta Shaffer and Cody Shaffer of Ursa. Alexander Reuschel and Noah Reuschel of Bowen.
They have 8 grandchildren. The couple met while teaching together. They went on their first date November 22, 1963.
A month later, Roger proposed. Roger was a Highschool Math teacher for 36 years before retiring in 1998. After teaching, he did some part time work for local trucking companies and also substitute teaching until Spring of 2011, when he retired for good with Judy.
Judy was a 4th grade schoolteacher for 37 years. She began teaching in 1961-1967 and then stopped to raise her 4 children. She began teaching again in 1980 until she retired in May of 2011.
Roger and Judy have many hobbies and activities they enjoy. They both love to travel. They just recently went on a trip to Germany.
They like to partake in their Chruch community functions, take trips to The Fox in St. Louis, .
