Birth: 1952 Death: 2024 Margaret Lozano-Williams, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many passed away peacefully in April at the young age of 71. She was a truly wonderful and beautiful soul. She loved her family and friends deeply.

She loved dancing, family events, gardening, a good glass of white wine, traveling and her kids and grandchildren. Born in 1952 in California to Rudy and Carmen Lozano she was one of six children. She spent most of her childhood in Brentwood and Dixon, CA.



She went to university in Mexico and later came back to California to be near family. She started a position at UC Davis and worked there for over 30 years. She is fondly remembered by her workmates for her kindness, generosity, positivity, and incredible sense of humor.

She was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren beyond words and was the best “Gammie”. She was a strong and proud single mom.

Always going the extra 10 miles for her children. Margaret is survived by her two children, her four grandchildren and her four brothers and sisters. She also leaves behind a large and rich community of extended family and friends.

To say she will be missed would be putting it much too lightly. She was a keystone family member and counselor/friendly ear for so many. Her infectious love and optimism was a daily part of so many people’s lives.

In her last days, her deep life-long faith in god brought her strength and peace and she was surrounded by her loving.
