American brand Snapdragon have used Eric Cantona to officially announce their sponsorship of Manchester United , which is worth £60million per season. It was confirmed in September that California-based company Qualcomm Technologies would have their brand Snapdragon on the front of shirts for the 2024/25 season. United's sponsorship deal with TeamViewer, agreed during the pandemic, has been brought to an end.

That agreement was worth just £47m per year and the Qualcomm Technologies deal is understood to be worth £60m per season, which is a significant rise. Before TeamViewer's sponsorship, United had a £64m deal with car manufacturer Chevrolet that began in 2014 and the Snapdragon deal is close to the value of that package. "How do you measure your passion?" Cantona says to nostalgic United footage. "Because this beautiful game is more than just numbers. It's about billions of voices singing as one.

"It's about emotion, heart and creating memories we never forget. Some think it's the number on the back of the jersey that matters. But if you ask me? It's what's on the front.
