Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez believes he is on the same level as Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland , Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski. Martinez has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the years, with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal among those currently linked with the 26-year-old. He was the leading goalscorer in Serie A last season with 24 strikes and was named the league's most valuable player.
However, his current contract is due to expire in 2026 and negotiations have dragged on for months, prompting speculation he could leave Inter this summer. And he will inevitably be in demand given a number of clubs, including United and Arsenal, are looking to sign a top goalscorer. And in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport , Martinez was asked if he believes he is one of the best forward in the world alongside Mbappe, Haaland, Kane and Lewandowski.
"I have nothing to be jealous of them, the numbers and the trophies say so," he replied.
