There were scenes of elation at full-time with Nani, 37, being swamped by fans inside the stadium, having helped his side, Nani FC, come from behind to defeat the reigning TST champions, Newtown FC 2-1. Richardinho scored the first, before the game went down to 2v2, with Nani completing the comeback, despite missing a penalty earlier in the game.

After working their way to the edge of the penalty area, Nani would slide a pass from Ricardinho into the back of the net, with a well-placed right-footed shot to secure victory. In sensational scenes, he would pull his shirt off and launch it into the air, before he was mobbed by team-mates and fans who had ran onto the playing field. .

@NaniFC_TST WINS AN ABSOLUTE THRILLER TO ADVANCE TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!! 🏆.
