Carol Hunt, 61, and her daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, died at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday evening. They were found fatally wounded by husband and father BBC 5 Live commentator John Hurt.



Although they were alive when emergency services arrived, all three were pronounced dead shortly afterwards. This sparked a manhunt for Clifford, who is understood to have recently split from Louise. He was detained in hospital on Wednesday, after being tracked down near a cemetery in north London.

Cops confirmed today a 26-year-old man had been arrested. Detective Superintendent Rob Hall, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the victims’ family at this tragic time. The investigation is moving at pace and as a result, we have now arrested a man.
