DUBLIN Airport has announced some major news for Irish holidaymakers with a brand budget airline service to fly in an "exciting new addition to schedule." The capital's airport has welcomed a new direct flight to the Turkish capital of Ankara . Operated by Pegasus Airlines, the new direct flight will operate three times per week at passenger-friendly times.

This schedule is designed to accommodate both business and leisure travellers, providing convenience and flexibility. It will depart from Dublin to Ankara on Wednesdays and Sundays at 13.25 and Fridays at 13.



35. The flights will operate on new-generation fuel-efficient Airbus A321neo aircraft. The A321neo aircraft is environmentally friendly, comfortably accommodating 180 to 2220 passengers in a typical two-class interior layout and as many as 244 in a higher-density arrangement.

The launch at Dublin Airport took place on Wednesday, June 3, and was attended by the Ambassador of Turkey, Mehmet Hakan Olcay and the Pegasus Airlines team. Gary McLean, Managing Director of Dublin Airport, said: "We're delighted to welcome Pegasus Airlines to Dublin Airport, and this is an exciting new addition to the schedule at Dublin Airport that is sure to prove very popular with passengers." Commenting on the route launch, Onur Dedeköylü, Pegasus Airlines' Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), added: "Our new Ankara-Dublin route not only adds a new destination to our growing European network but also links the capitals of Türkiye and Irelan.
