star has shared an update about her experience of losing her mum Chondelle to lung cancer in January this year. The star, who became a famous face after appearing on the popular E4 dating show in 2022, announced a year ago that she had been dealing with something difficult in her personal life, which turned out to be her mum's diagnosis. Taking to her social media on Saturday, 1 June, the 32-yaer-old reality star said: “Within that week whilst dealing with other stuff, I found out my mum may have cancer and my Mum didn’t want anyone to know.

I really hoped it would all be okay. It took professionals until August to confirm that she had terminal lung cancer which was aggressive and untreatable.” She continued: “I had evidence that my Mum was let down and it hurts having to live with that knowledge.



” Chanita confirmed her mother's death in January with a series of snaps of her and Chondelle together, and captioned the tribute with "I miss you so much already". She added: “Chondelle Stephenson, better known as my strong, beautiful, funny, intelligent, caring, courageous mother.” Chanita’s fans were quick to flood her comments section with messages of condolences, with one person penning: "Sending you the biggest hug and all the love, so sorry for your loss.
