Love Island 2024 star Harriett Blackmore has broken her silence on the now viral video which has been circulating, showing her rowing with a group of women at the seafront. The brunette bombshell was caught on video with one of her brothers and a mystery Premier League footballer. The Brighton-born beauty stood between the two men and a gang of women in a video which showed the women accusing the men of “beating them up”.
Harriett was seen intervening, ordering them to clear off. In the video, one woman yells: “You beat up my friends!” as Harriett said: “He’s a Premier League football player so please leave him alone.” The mystery footie player covered his face to conceal his identity, but the shouting match continued as Harriett ordered them to hand over their phones to her.
Now in a chat with Daily Star and other press, Harriett had some comments of her own to make, addressing the incident. She said: "I think the video was so many years ago, if it’s the one I’m thinking of – obviously I can’t see it because I don’t have my phone – there’s not really anything to say about that story. If you’ve seen it you can see all I was trying to do was defuse the situation.
"It was actually one of my really good friends who is in the public eye, he’s a football player, and my brother, and these fans. People were sort of antagonising him when we were just trying to enjoy our night. I just didn’t think it was fair that they were putting cameras in his face.
