Love Island fans were left complaining minutes into the latest episode as they called for a change to be made. The hit ITV2 dating show returned on Wednesday night, as this year's Islanders started to get to know each other. Many of them started to grow close as just minutes into the episode three couples shared a kiss.

Despite finding love being the aim of the show, plenty of viewers were far from impressed by the action on screen. Celebrity bombshell Joey Essex kicked off the episode by sharing a very passionate kiss with Samantha. Mimii and Ayo, who are not in a couple yet but are already fan favourites to win, also shared a kiss together.

Viewers took to X to share their thoughts as they issued a plea to the show producers. One said: "They need to down the mics cus i dont want to hear it #loveisland." Another added: "this is my fourth year asking love island to mute the kisses #loveisland.

" Someone else commented: "I say this every season but they realllly need to mute the microphones when they start smooching #loveIsland." A fourth quipped: "The sounds #LoveIsland." A viewer added: "THE SOUNDS OF THE KISSES WOULD NEVER NOT BE DISGUSTING #loveIsland.

" Another shared: "All these kisses are disgusting me idk why #loveIsland." Someone else demanded: "Enough kisses. #loveIsland.

" Others were surprised by the start of the episode showing three kisses before the first ad break. One said: "Seriously though..

. those wet kisses in the first 9 minutes plus its day 3 and the winners.
