Love Island was full of explosive drama on Monday night as the ITV2 dating series aired a dramatic recoupling. The recoupling came just hours after Omar Nyame and Tiffany Leighton were sent home in a huge twist. However, the drama was far from over as the villa learnt there would be a shock recoupling during Monday's episode.
During the latest instalment, Jess White received a message which asked all the Islanders to gather around the fire pit immediately. While sitting around the firepit, Harriet Blackmore got a message, revealing it was time to recouple. However, this time, it would be the girls' choosing as the power was given to the boys in the last recoupling.
In another twist, new bombshells Matilda Draper and Konnor Ewudzi got to pick who they wanted to be with first. Matilda was up first as she picked Sean Stone while Konnor was next up as he picked Grace Jackson. This left Joey Essex fuming as he has only recently rekindled with his ex from outside the villa.
Taking to Twitter , now X, viewers were quick to accuse Grace of having a 'game plan' as she pulled Konnor for a flirty chat before the recoupling, teasing that no one in the villa was 'closed off'. One person said: "Did anyone else clock Graces little smile #loveIsland", a different account put: "This is 100% what grace wanted See that little smile on her face" while another wrote: "Idk I feel grace has a game plan she wasn’t expecting to be in least favourite so now she’s trying to graft other people hmmmm.
