A man who was allegedly murdered at an Essex home gave a "dying declaration" to police officers who found him seriously injured outside the address. A woman has appeared in court accused of murdering 60-year-old John Bain in Loughton. Mr Bain was found seriously injured in Willingale Road on July 3.
Officers attended an address at around 10.20pm and paramedics were also called. He was taken to hospital but sadly died on July 4.
Georgia Wildman, 30, of Mornington Road in Loughton, was arrested and later charged with murder. She appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today (July 10) dressed in a grey prison-issue jumper and had one black eye. Prosecutor Andrew Jackson told the court that when police officers found Mr Bain seriously injured outside the property, he gave a "dying declaration" to the officers. A trial date was set for November 4 this year, with an estimated two week time-span, but this could be subject to change. Wildman, who showed little emotion in the hearing, is due to appear at the same court again on September 9 for a plea hearing.
Judge Christopher Morgan told Wildman: "You will be remanded in custody. The Crown will serve their case by August 27. You will return to this court on September 9.
