Lorraine: The D-Day Darlings perform 'We'll Meet Again' Lorraine Kelly invited The D-Day Darlings onto the show this morning - and not for the first time - as they marked 80 years since one of the most impactful war moments in history. Yet, as viewers glued themselves to the screen in honour of the fallen heroes of Britain and Europe, not everyone was impressed by the singing quality. It seemed to divide viewers on Twitter, as one criticised: "Ooof, she was really, really flat and off-key then #lorraine.
" Another grimaced, exclaiming: "Make it stop!" However, overall, the performance was praised, with some in tears over the emotional significance of the tune. One viewer tweeted: "Oh My, utterly heartwarming, this really brings it home. Respect!" Another chimed in: "Bawling my eyes out @lorraine this performance is beautiful and so moving.
" The singing troupe had previously appeared on the show and were interviewed in 2018 too. They were signed to Sony Music that year after reaching the finals of Britain's Got Talent . The singers have since gone from strength to strength and have been described as the UK's premier wartime act.
