London is lucky enough to be blessed with numerous beautiful big green spaces. Most people have a park, big or small, a short walk away from where they live or work. With parks being such a treasured commodity in London everyone has their favourite for several reasons.

At MyLondon, we gave the readers the chance to vote on which park in London was their favourite out of a select group. There were 15 to choose from initially and we will bring you the top 10 below. Parks that missed out on the top 10 were London Fields, Clapham Common , Danson Park, Lee Valley Regional Park and Victoria Park.

The park can trace its origins back to the Tudor period when it was one of King Henry VIII's favourite deer parks. This park is now known as the place where Parkrun was born and has a lot of great jogging routes. There's lots to enjoy in the park like fountains, waterfalls, water gardens, playgrounds, sports pitches and even somewhere to swim.

Joint 9. Kensington Gardens Also making it into the top 10 in the list, getting the same amount of votes as Bushy Park, is another Royal Park in Kensington Gardens. This park dates back to the 18th century and was originally part of Kensington Palace.
