Director Griffin Loch and the local band The Critics invite everyone to watch their new movie/music “Movic” video on YouTube by going to TheCriticsBand.com or GriffinLoch.com .

“An epic presentation of crime, time travel and the search for true bliss all driven to the heartbeat of The Critics’ newest alternative rock song ‘Heart of Gold’ (is) now streaming on all music platforms,” said Loch. The “Movic” video premiered on June 1 at the historic Minor Theatre in Arcata, with over 80 fans, family and friends in attendance. The collaborative venture is all shot within the beautiful landscapes of Humboldt County with all local cast and crew, Loch said.



Loch is a director and writer, known for “A Spark of Nothing” (2021), “The Adventure of T.P. Man and Flusher” (2019) and “Calling the Shots” (2018).

He is currently in post-production for his next film, “The Undistilled.” When he’s not working on films, one can find Loch creating new haunts for the Griffin Loch Scream-A-Torium Scaregrounds located at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds in Ferndale every October. Go to ScreamAToriumHaunt.
