Auckland, NewZealand – 4th July, 2024 Local adventurer andphotographer Richard Harri has captured the essence ofAuckland's coastal beauty through his passion for kayaking,culminating in a unique display of images now featured atKāpiti at Mission Bay. Since taking up kayaking just18 months ago, Harri has embarked on an impressive 300 tripscovering a staggering 3000 kilometres along Auckland'seastern coastline. His daily routine begins at 3am, weatherpermitting, as he navigates a 12-kilometer route from StHeliers to Rangitoto to Browns Island and back, capturingbreathtaking moments along the way.
"I've always had alove for the water and photography," says Harri. "Kayakingallows me to combine these passions and explore the stunningvistas that Auckland has tooffer." In a recent collaboration, Harrihas partnered with Kāpiti at Mission Bay, an iconicestablishment in Mission Bay known for its commitment toquality ice cream and coffee.
Steve Avery, owner of Kāpitiat Mission Bay, has graciously provided Harri with a spaceto exhibit 12 of his captivating canvas prints in thegallery upstairs.
