Lisa Manoban , better known as Lisa of Blackpink, has just dropped her comeback solo track—her first since opting to run her solo career on her own terms with Lloud . And the track, titled ‘Rockstar’ certainly has all the makings of a superstar staking her claim on the charts.
After all, since it was first cheekily teased as an accompaniment to her TikTok era (double whiplash, we know), the Internet’s been an absolute riot . Then, she dropped those immensely transformative teaser images; of that beautiful bronzy tan mired by that inimitable cyberpunk cool . The hype was real, and no doubt the lot of us who were already at the edge of our seats were rewarded generously with a rapturous music video—a 168-second effort we instantly dived into over and over again.
