The funeral for Nicole Morey, the Limerick woman who was killed in a dog attack on Tuesday night, June 4 , was held today, June 10, at Holy Family Church in Southill, Co Limerick. Speaking at the funeral on Monday, Fr Hogan told mourners: "We must try to remember Nicole for her generosity, kindness, and beauty." Nicole's sister Jolene told the congregation: “Our hearts are shattered for the rest of our lives.
“Our family tree is broken, and I’m trying my best to stay so strong on the outside, but on the inside it’s hurting so much that no one will ever know. “To my loving sister, never in a million years did I think I’d be here at your funeral. You were so loving and caring, you never deserved any of this.
” Jolene said there was "no bond closer" than her and her sister's, and that Nicole was like a mother figure to all of their siblings. “I’m going to be so lost without you," Jolene said, "I will love and miss you, but I know you will be right by my side through all of this hard time. "Please watch over us, Nicole, we need you more than ever now, and I love and miss you forever.
