Brits are increasingly putting a lesser-known Italian gem on their travel wish list after being captivated by its stunning vistas. Italy, drawing over 70million visitors annually, is renowned for its rich cultural offerings (think pizza), storied history (more pizza), and delectable cuisine (did someone say pizza?). Tourists usually throng to the serene waterways of Venice or Rome's majestic Colosseum, while islands such as Capri, Sicily, and Sardinia have surged in popularity for their crystal-clear seas, picture-perfect beaches, and balmy climes.

. Travel influencer Izzy, known as Izzydeering on TikTok, has been singing the praises of Procida in the Gulf of Naples. "Welcome to Procida: the island in Italy often overshadowed by Capri and Ishcia," she remarked.

"[It's] just as beautiful but with no crowds." Izzy highlighted the island's vibrant port, secluded strands, molten sunsets, and translucent waters.
