Runners from across North Devon have a final opportunity to register for the North Devon Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10k, happening next month. With registration closing soon, the hospice has said this is the last chance for local enthusiasts to join one of the country's most scenic and challenging races while supporting a vital cause. Scheduled for Sunday, June 30, the North Devon Marathon is a highly anticipated event known as the “Beauty and the Beast.

” Runners will tackle steep inclines and tough terrain, rewarded with breathtaking views along North Devon’s coastline. The full marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.

1 miles), and 10k (6.2 miles) all start in Woolacombe, covering sections of the South West Coast Path and the North Devon Coast National Landscape. Participants will receive a medal and a cream tea at the finish line.

Lisa Mackenzie, Events Manager at North Devon Hospice, said: “The North Devon Marathon is without doubt one of the most exciting running events in the UK and the atmosphere is always electric, especially just before the races start. Every step runners take will mean we can continue to be here for the people of North Devon, caring for you time after time. We’re looking forward to cheering you on every step of the way!” North Devon Hospice is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
