Back in 2022, Arthur Kar and his L'Art de L'Automobile label teamed up with Salomon for two pairs of the ACS Pro Advanced. And, as tradition, they sold out. But what is surprising is how it's taken almost two years for the duo to reunite – and the second L'Art de L'Automobile x Salomon collection has arrived.
L'Art de L'Automobile x Salomon XT-4 OG ‘White’ By Adam Cheung Taking on the XT-4 OG and the Speedcross 3, both sneakers feature mesh constructions and extra taping across the lateral and medial sidewalls for a streamlined aesthetic. The former is fitted with the French sportswear company's signature Agile Chassis Skeleton for added comfort and support (or ACS, for short), while the latter is equipped with the Quicklace system so you can loosen and tighten these trainers while on the go. It's a feature that's loved by both hardcore mountain climbers, and those who've never seen a mountain in their entire lives.
L'Art de L'Automobile x Salomon XT-4 OG ‘White’ What makes this collab even more special are the colour combos. As you may have already guessed from the brand's name (it literally translates to ‘the art of the automobile’ in English), it's all about paying homage to some of the most beautiful cars on the planet. This particular collection gets its unique palette from the Porsche GT1 Mobil1, which is considered by many to be one of the greatest sports cars from the late '90s.
