Kylie Kelce delivered the commencement speech at Cabrini University to the graduating class of 2024, the final class as the school will shut down after 67 years. Kelce, who played field hockey at the university, graduated in 2017 and explained how honored she was at the opportunity , giving a speech that was in stark contrast to recent commencement speeches, most notably Harrison Butker's. "My husband, Jason Kelce, is known for giving some pretty earth-shattering speeches," she said to the students on hand referencing her husband's tearful Philadelphia Eagles retirement speech.

"He did not help me in writing my words today, so you can go ahead and lower those expectations." Kylie continued about how pursuing higher education is about exploring and finding oneself and what one truly wants to do, coming from her personal experience. During her time at Cabrini, that is where Kylie decided to pursue communications, eventually graduating with a degree in communications.



Additionally, the tools the students have learned at Cabrini also helped them deal with decisions daily. "This is part of the beauty of growing older and wiser," she continued. "You are better equipped with knowledge to make more informed decisions.
