James Bond ’s feted producer Barbara Broccoli can officially call off the search for 007 as Kim Kardashian has thrown her hat in the ring. Forget Aaron Taylor-Johnson , or other rumours including Leo Woodall , because the Skims founder, 43 , is convinced she could ‘totally’ replace Daniel Craig. The reality TV star made a genuine pitch to be the next James Bond in the latest episode of The Kardashians and said she ‘really loved’ the idea of joining the franchise.
However, she admitted there was just one single obstacle blocking her route to 007 glory – her penchant for Botox. Kim’s play to become the British spy arose when she was discussing her blossoming acting career, following on from her successful turn in American Horror Story , with her ‘lifers’ – a group of female friends she has known since childhood – at dinner. Her best friend Allison Statter suggested she could become the first ‘female 007’ – and you could see Kim contemplating ordering a martini – shaken not stirred – at the bar.
Nodding in approval, Kim replied: ‘Instead of a Bond girl, it should be Bond boys. That would be epic.’ But – despite stating she ‘really loved’ the idea of taking over from Daniel Craig, Kim admitted her Botox procedures could put a stop to her Hollywood career.
