Family and film-industry peers are mourning the loss of Donald Sutherland . The actor known for his roles in M*A*S*H and the Hunger Games franchise died on June 20 at the age of 88. Since breaking into the industry in the late 1960s, Sutherland worked in all corners of Hollywood, amassing some 200 film and TV credits, working with renowned filmmakers, and touching the lives of his colleagues.

Now they’re sharing memories of their time with the prolific actor. “With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away,” tweeted his son the actor Kiefer Sutherland. “I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film.
