As we bid adieu to May, we welcome a slew of events that scream “Summer!” We’ve shortlisted five events we are definitely excited to attend, and that’s the beauty of Jakarta; we never run out, and there’s always something for everyone. This year, Echosmith and The Fray are gracing the stage at Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno, on June 8. The two world-class bands don’t need an introduction, bringing their favorite songs that have been a staple for our playlist since they debuted several years ago. After all, who can forget singing our lungs out in high school to Echosmith’s “Cool Kids” and crying our eyes out watching while singing “How to Save a Life” by the Fray? Ah, simpler times.
Dogs and rabbits and sugar gliders, oh my! Calling all pawrents, Pet Fest Indonesia will be held at ICE BSD from Jun. 21 to 23. A collaboration between USS, International Creative Event (ICE) and Hyde Park, the place is guaranteed to be filled with the animal kingdom and present a series of inspiring activities, such as the Pet Exhibition, Workshop, Grooming Demo, Fun Talk and Coaching Clinic.
With all the cute animals, don’t sleep in on the equally amazing humans scheduled to appear at the event: Korean pet stylist Lee Hyun Ae, and the dog whisperer himself, Cesar Milan. Ex.
