More info Kerry Katona has opened up about feeling "really sad" over the decision to leave her current abode as part of a plan to "downsize" with her brood, but she believes it's "for the best". The 43-year-old former Atomic Kitten star had previously let on that she would be vacating her Cheshire home to settle into a more modest dwelling nearby. Kerry then offered her followers a glimpse of her new residence in a social media video last week.

She expressed to her fans that the new house "feels so much more homelier," in contrast to her former abode which was "far too big," especially since some of her children have flown the nest. "By the time this column is out, we will have the keys to our new home - not that we're prepared at all! But we do have movers coming this week and we won't move out of our house straight away, so there isn't any rush," she penned in her column for new! Continuing to share her sentiments, Kerry remarked: "I'm really sad to be leaving this house and downsizing but I know it's for the best - especially for the future and buying my forever home." She also touched upon the topic of her children growing up and moving out, reports the Mirror.
