Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer took time out of his campaigning to watch Taylor Swift . The American pop star, 34, performed the first date of her three-night stop at London's Wembley Stadium on Friday night. Thousands of fans flocked to the venue to watch the singer perform all her greatest hits.
Taylor is performing three gigs in the capital this weekend - before returning to the venue in August for a further five dates. It is part of her 21-month-long Eras Tour, with a staggering 640,000 people attending the sold-out shows in London. Keir Starmer was one of those adding to the figures as he watched Taylor perform.
He was joined by his wife Victoria as they let off some steam before next month's general election and took a break from campaigning. In the photo shared on his X account, they both beamed at the camera from the stands of Wembley Arena as they watched Taylor on stage. Keir ditched his suits in favour of a white T-shirt and navy jacket.
Wife Victoria wore blue jeans with a frayed black vest top, paired with an on-brand red handbag. Alongside the snap, the Labour leader said: "‘Swift’ campaign pitstop." His followers were quick to react to the snap as one declared: "That’s my PM!" Another added: "I am sorry but this is a W of epic proportions.
" Someone else commented: "Beautiful photo! Beautiful couple!" Keir Starmer wasn't the only high-profile guest at the show. Prince William , who has previously performed karaoke with Taylor Swift, was said to be in atten.
