Friday, June 28, 2024 Travelers eager to witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights will have more opportunities this coming winter, as Jet2.com has announced an expanded schedule of flights to Iceland from London Stansted. The airline plans to operate flights twice a week—on Wednesdays and Sundays—to Reykjavik, the Icelandic capital.
This enhanced service will run from October 26 to November 16, 2025, and then again from March 11 to April 5, 2026. The scheduling aligns perfectly with the October and February school half-term breaks, allowing families and other travelers to plan their visits during these peak viewing times for the Northern Lights.
