Lorraine reacts to Jeremy Clarkson being voted UK's 'sexiest man' Jeremy Clarkson has shared an opening update with his social media followers about his Oxfordshire pub - aptly named Clarkson's Arms. The former Top Gear presenter bought The Windmill near the village of Burford and provisionally renamed it to fit his brand. He announced the almost £1 million purchased in his column for the Sunday Times .

Jeremy penned: "I just needed the pub where all this could happen, and then after I’d looked at about 14,000, I found just the place. Old, Cotswoldy and sitting in five acres of its own land." While he appears optimistic about the endeavour, he told his Instagram followers they should not expect the doors will open any time soon.

Sharing a picture of his Sunday Times piece, he wrote in a caption: "In case you missed it. "I’ve bought a pub, even though everyone advised against it. It’s about 20 mins away from the shop, with staggering views.

" Updating fans about the pub, he penned in an update: "We have much work to do, so will let you know when we can open." He has hinted at a 2025 opening, adding: "It’s entirely possible that I won’t get the place mended and open until the icy hand of winter has descended which means I'll have 80 people to pay every week, a quagmire for a car park and no customers because - as I've been told time and again - people just don't go to country pubs any more." Don't miss.
