Five Republicans are running for two Scott County Supervisor nomination spots. Incumbent Ken Beck is running for a third term to the Scott County Board of Supervisors. Rita Rawson, a Republican who was appointed to the board to serve outgoing supervisor and current county treasurer Tony Knobbe's spot, is running for election for the first time to retain the seat.

Three challengers are running for the two GOP spots on the general election ballot — Thomas Charles Nelson, a retired chiropractor; Jeff Bloemker, a commercial banker and former mayor in Illinois; and Jennifer McAndrew Lane, probation and parole officer and wife to Sheriff Tim Lane. Survey answers from the other Republicans running are publishing throughout this week. One Democrat, Maria Bribriesco, is running for one of the two Scott County Supervisor spots and will advance to the general election ballot.
