News | UK The mother of missing teenager Jay Slater has spoken of her “heartache” and hit out at “awful comments and conspiracy theories” as it approaches a month since the 19-year-old went missing in Tenerife . Mr Slater from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire , disappeared on June 16 while on holiday on the Spanish island with friends Lucy Mae Law and Brad Hargreaves. The teenager’s mother Debbie Duncan said the family was “desperate to find our beautiful boy” in a statement released through British overseas missing persons charity LBT Global on Sunday.
