Jay Slater's devastated mother has given a fresh statement as the hunt for her missing son who disappeared without a trace in Tenerife reaches one month. Debbie Duncan has voiced her frustration at the "awful comments and conspiracy theories" swirling around social media about the teenager's disappearance, which she describes as "vile to see as a family", alleging they have obstructed attempts to locate him. Spanish law enforcement initiated a search and rescue mission after Jay, 19, from Lancashire, vanished on 17th June in the isolated northwest of the island, prompting his family to swiftly travel out to assist in his search.
