Police searching for missing teen Jay Slater believe they have "evidence" to show how the Brit died after a body was discovered in Tenerife . Human remains have been found in the search for the teenager who disappeared in Tenerife while holidaying with friends, according to Spanish authorities. The tragic discovery was made on Monday morning by Civil Guard officers from the mountain rescue division, with evidence so far indicating he had died "due to an accidental fall in the rough and inaccessible area where he was found".

Authorities issued the major update bringing an end to the four-week search for the missing 19-year-old, who vanished on Monday, June 17.
