WAITE PARK — Thirty Seconds to Mars will perform at the Ledge Amphitheater this summer, according to an announcement Tuesday, May 21. The Jared Leto-led American rock band will perform on Sunday, July 21, with tickets available beginning Friday, May 24. Leto and his older brother, Shannon, formed the band in the late 1990s.
Various other band members have joined and departed through the years. Jared Leto is known for his acting roles, including as Claire Danes’ onscreen crush Jordan Catalano on the short-lived but critically acclaimed teen show “My So-Called Life.” He also made appearances in “Fight Club,” “Girl Interrupted,” “American Psycho,” and “Requiem for a Dream,” among many others.
In 2014, he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Dallas Buyers Club." Thirty Seconds to Mars’ most recent album is "It's the End of the World but It's a Beautiful Day," released in 2023. The band is currently touring Europe but returns to the States in July.
