Love Island was full of explosive scenes on Monday night as one Islander threatened to leave the ITV2 villa. Joey Essex is in a couple with Samantha Kenny but he was picked by former flame Grace Jackson to spend a night in Casa Amor on Sunday after she entered as a bombshell last week. Joey, 33, and model Grace, 25, who are thought to have previously dated for around a year after meeting in Ibiza, couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they were reunited as they kept repeatedly kissing on both Sunday and Monday's episodes.
Upon returning to the main villa on Monday's episode, Samantha was hurt that Joey appeared to ignore her and not pull her for an immediate chat. Later, in the evening, the two sat down where Joey admitted he had kissed Grace and Samantha shared her upset, admitting she felt embarrassed and she had been used as a placeholder. Later in the episode, Joey suggested to Grace that they should spend the night in the Hideaway as in a twist this series, the Islanders have unlimited access and don't need to be voted in by their fellow contestants.
Getting carried away, Joey pulled Grace in for a passionate kiss, which was witnessed by several shocked Islanders with Samantha unaware. After witnessing the smooch, some Islanders thought it was only fair they told Samantha and she was understandably left devastated over the news. After breaking down in tears, Samantha admitted: "I literally feel like walking out this villa.
.." to which her fellow Islanders reassur.
