Love Island fans were left 'screaming' on Monday's episode over a rather distracting detail during Sean Stone and Matilda Draper's kiss. During the latest instalment, Jess White received a message which asked all the Islanders to gather around the fire pit immediately. While sitting around the firepit, Harriet Blackmore got a message, revealing it was time to recouple.
However, this time, it would be the girls' choosing as the power was given to the boys in the last recoupling. In another twist, new bombshells Matilda and Konnor Ewudzi got to pick who they wanted to be with first. Matilda was up first as she picked Sean while Konnor was next up as he picked Grace Jackson.
Later, following the recoupling, Sean decided to take Matilda to the terrace. Sean said: "You actually look amazing. I’m serious, you look beautiful.
I’m so happy you’ve come through the door and I feel like I’m on the right track of something special." Sean then decided to lean in for a kiss with Matilda, who joked it was "second time lucky" after rejecting his first smooch. The two then had a steamy smooch on the roof terrace, leaving Sean delighted as he announced the news to the villa.
However, viewers were left distracted during the scenes as they noticed that Love Island had used an acoustic cover of Pure Imagination, which is used in the hit movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory and is a nod at Sean's job as a sweet salesman. Love Island 2024 has begun. Boots has launched a new collab cove.
