The celebrity Taylor Swift contingent were out in force for the Shake It Off hitmaker’s second Dublin gig on Saturday night. As Taylor dazzled at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday night, Irish stars from all over the country descended on Dublin to take in the knock-out show that has wowed fans and critics. Leading the celebrity charge were the soon-to-be-wed Doireann Garrihy and her fiancé Mark Meighan.
Doireann went full on glam for the concert as she pitched up at the Aviva in a sequin sparkly little date-night number which she purchased for the concert. Not to be outdone in the glam stakes, Mark donned an obligatory Taylor-made country style Stetson hat which he accessorized with a fun and tacky tiara. His post was simply captioned ‘Good stuff’.
Radio star Lucy Kennedy was also spotted singing along to Swift’s hits as she attended the gig with her daughter, who looked thoroughly delighted to have nabbed a ticket for the concert. Ireland AM star Muireann O’Connell was also on hand to reveal her preparations for heading to the Aviva by way of the Pride march. Posting a glittering sequins top in the Pride colours, a pair of sunglasses and a drink, she wrote that she was ‘getting Pride and Taylor ready.
’ Later, at the venue, she posted a picture of herself and a pal from their seats in the Aviva as she also posted Taylor’s speech thanking the crowd for coming out to see her. The blogger brigade were also out in force for Taylor’s gig. Terri McEvoy went full on .
