IRELAND AM star Karen Koster made a major slip up on air with an accidental x-rated joke that left her co-hosts in tears laughing. The former Six O'Clock Show host filled in for usual host Alan Hughes on Monday and Tuesday, as well as standing in for Muireann O'Connell last week. The Dublin beauty presented alongside Muireann and Tommy Bowe yesterday morning and had some serious laughs on the show.
The trio were speaking about a recent poll on Urban Dictionary for the most popular Irish slang words and asked viewers for their favourite phrases. One viewer wrote in saying: "Acting the maggot. It always confused my American cousins.

taking the Mick out of someone." The former rugby star looked awkward and said: "Oh right." Karen realised she had messed up the saying and quickly retracted her statement saying: "No, you don't pull the Mickey.

" Tommy remarked: "That would scare the American cousins alright." Muireann told Karen: "You better be careful what you pull and what you take." Tommy said: "The American cousins will be devastated with that one.
" Karen tried to defend herself as she shouted: "I got mixed up!" The three hosts were in absolute tears of laughter as they eventually had to take a short break.
