An inquest into the death of a West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedic found dead in Hednesford will be opened next week. The body of Daniel Duffield, who starred in Channel 4's 999: On the Frontline, was discovered at a house in Alpine Drive on June 25. Daniel, 24, from Cannock , was found alongside 22-year-old Lauren Evans as medics responded to a 'concern for welfare' call just after midday.
Their deaths sparked a murder probe, with Staffordshire Police later confirming it was "not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths" . Staffordshire and Stoke Coroner's Service said an inquest into the death of Lauren, who from Bridgend, South Wales, opened on Wednesday, July 3.
